According to several traders and residents, most residents know that it’s harmful to throw plastics in the lake for their health and that of the ecosystem but find it difficult to stop.

While the government seems adamant with jurisdictions filed in their arm-pit folders, the solution hasn’t been realized just even beyond “Kaveera”.

Why isn’t Plastic pollution regulated in Uganda?
